We are happy to send you the STL file! Once the job has been proceeded to Print and Cast, we can send you the file free of charge. If you only want the file and not the Full CPC service, there is an additional charge of £20 per file.

We base all our quotes on an hourly rate and only charge you for how long we expect the job to take. If a design takes longer than expected, we will not charge you for the extra time taken.

We don’t cast in house, we instead work with a specially selected group of casting houses, who are able to cast your print in a variety of metals. We will select the casting house who can produce the best possible cast in your selected metal, guaranteeing the best outcome.

The daily metal price does change regularly, so the piece will be charged out at the metal price on the day your design is proceed to cast.

We don’t, but our partner Centre Jewellery do! All our castings will be sent out with the sprue cut short, but not fully removed or filed.

It take up to 5-7 working days for the complete cast. This will then be posted out to you, once it has passed our quality control.

CAD Print Cast works from your brief. The more details you can provide, the easier it will be to create the design you want. If you are unsure about measurements, our experienced CAD team will design with tolerance for mounting and setting in mind. If you have a design job enquiry, contact our sister company Centre Jewellery.

We can do same day 3D scans! There is a £5 express charge on top of your quoted scan charge. We would require your ring before 12pm in order to return the ring in the same day’s post, if it received after 12pm, it will be returned in the following working days post.

Our standard turn around is 3 – 5 working days, we will let you know the completion date when you proceed the quote. An express service is available at an extra charge. The charge will be a percentage of the original CAD cost quoted and is not offered during busy period.

We are happy to work with your stones. You can provide exact measurements and an image of the stone; alternatively you can send in your stones for us to measure. We will return the stones with the casting or earlier if requested.

You will get a Technical Image and an Arctic Image once your CAD is complete. The Technical Images show the dimension as they are in CAD, cast items may differ slightly due to shrinkage during the casting process. The measurements provided by us are not finished measurements. If you only know the finished dimension you want, let us know and we will add extra tolerance to help you when mounting.

The weights provided with your technical images are an estimate, produced by the CAD software. This weight can differ in cast and may be slightly more or less. You will only be charged the actual final weight of the casting, not the estimate.

We understand that sometimes, until you see an image its hard to know if its what you and your customer want. We do charge for amendments, but we always try to be fair. You will never be charged more than the time it takes to change the design, so the extra cost varies.
